These are some my go-to items that I like to keep in my therapy bag! I find that having a small selection of versatile resources makes it so much easier to adapt sessions and target a range of different communication goals whilst still keeping therapy fun and engaging 💛
🌀 Fidget toys
These are a great tool for supporting regulation, attention and engagement during sessions.

A fun, hands-on game that can be adapted to target a range of skills while keeping children motivated and engaged. Plus, it’s always a hit! 🍌
🤪 What’s Wacky? Language Cards
A go-to for targeting language skills such as sentence formulation, grammar, describing, identifying errors and explaining why something is silly or incorrect.
📚 Go-to books
You can never go wrong with a few favourite books! They’re incredibly versatile and can be used to target vocabulary, comprehension, narrative skills, sequencing, WH-questions, inferencing and much more.
🗓️ Visual schedule
A simple but super useful resource for helping children understand what to expect during a session, transition between activities and feel more prepared for what’s coming next.
