My first client back after recovery from surgery.

Rascal came in and offered his medicine, and it was such a beautiful reminder for me to let the horses do and act autonomously around clients.

He was the biggest pest. He was fun. He was gently mouthing. There was nothing malicious in his actions.
He was hitting on a few areas of her body, and funnily enough,
When I was going through my kinesiology session with the client, there were two chakras that came up needing to be unblocked, cleared and balanced… the two areas that Rascal focused on, and it just really made me look at how I work.

How easy it is to get sucked into this belief that a horse should be sombre and at rest when working in a healing space.

But who says a horse has to deliver their medicine that way?

I truly believe Rascal knew that my client needed joy, laughter and fun, the light side of being around horses. A return to childlike enjoyment and space.

It was really beautiful to watch Rascal have big yawning and stretching releases in time with my client’s own releases.

It’s such a great reminder that my ego and control need to take a step back and allow the horse magic to gently unfold.

I just feel truly blessed and honoured to help facilitate these healings for people. They are just something else. There is nothing quite like it.

And if you’re sitting on the fence… It’s time. It really is time. 🤍
