Junior Farmhands Wanted
We are looking for reliable, hardworking Junior Farmhands to join our team as a casual employee at Hooves For Hope.
This role is suited to young people who genuinely enjoy farm life, horses, and being outdoors in all weather conditions.
Essential requirements:
✅ Driver’s licence and reliable transport to and from work
✅ Horse handling and horse care experience
✅ Strong work ethic
✅ Ability to arrive on time and work independently
✅ Physically fit and capable of undertaking farm duties
✅ Honest, trustworthy and reliable
📱 No phone to be used on shift
🐴 Must respects animals and our belongings
🚫 Respects and understands confidentiality and privacy
We would also prefer someone who is:
🩷 Personable and able to hold a conversation
🩷 Kind, patient and respectful towards children
🩷 Friendly, approachable and a positive role model
🩷 Comfortable working alongside participants, families and staff
Farm work is rewarding, but it can also be physically demanding. We are looking for team members who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, get dirty, and contribute to the daily running of a busy equine-assisted services property.
