As a homeopath I have seen the disastrous effects of antibiotics, the multiple courses one after another, and the cascade of negative health conditions which proceed thereafter.
If you have been in this situation or have recently had a course of Antibiotics and your health (and bowels!) haven’t been the same since, these 2 homeopathic remedies would be the first point of call to get back on track.
🌼 Poly Antibiotics: This remedy is made from over 30 types of anti-biotics: Amoxicillin, Ciprofloxacin, Flucloxacillin to name a few. This will act as a detox to specifically clear the anti-biotic from your system.
🌼 A bowel nosode: (one of these 4) Bowel nosodes are a group of remedies that are prepared from cultures of non-lactose fermenting bacteria found in the human intestinal tract, they act as a blueprint for a healthier gut microbiome.
• Morgan Pure: Is a bowel nosode linked to congestion, sluggish bowel function, and the after-effects of antibiotics (especially penicillin derivatives).
• Gaertner: Often best after broad-spectrum antibiotics. It is more associated with digestive sensitivity, poor nutrient absorption, or “failure to thrive” patterns.
• Sycotic-co: Sometimes used for higher toxicity cases or after certain narrow-spectrum antibiotics.
• Poly Bowel Plus: A broader option containing multiple bowel nosodes (including Morgan, Gaertner, etc.). This is popular for general gut recovery post-antibiotics as a “homeopathic probiotic” type support.
Lastly, fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir with your meals along with a daily high quality probiotic to suit your individual needs.
Individual prescribing is always the best when it comes to homeopathy but these aim to address dysbiosis, restore flora, reduce inflammation and alleviate symptoms like diarrhea, bloating, or fatigue.
If this is you, if antibiotics did what they needed to do, but you haven’t felt like yourself since, slide into my DMs. I’ll help you figure out what your body actually needs to get back on track.
