Sometimes we carry emotions that don’t even belong to us. 🌀 If you feel emotionally drained, heavy, or overly affected by someone else’s energy, try this simple grounding practice. Draw a small inward-moving spiral, trace it slowly with your finger, and repeat: “I return to myself.” Take three deep breaths and allow yourself to reconnect with your own space. 🌿✨

✨ Have You Ever Thought About Learning Reiki? ✨

Reiki Level 1 is such a beautiful place to begin if you’ve ever felt curious about Reiki and would love to learn how to use it for yourself, your own wellbeing and the people you care about 💜

You don’t need any previous experience, special knowledge or abilities, just an open mind and heart.

During my Reiki Level 1 workshop, we spend the weekend exploring what Reiki is, how energy works, the Reiki principles, hand positions and how to give Reiki to yourself and others.

You’ll also receive your Reiki Level 1 attunements and have plenty of time to practise in a relaxed, supportive environment. It’s always so lovely seeing students complete the weekend feeling excited to continue their Reiki journey 🙏

For me, one of the most beautiful things about learning Reiki is having something you can come back to whenever you need a little more calm, grounding or time to reconnect with yourself. ✨

✨ What Does Reiki Actually Feel Like?

One of the questions I'm often asked is, "What does Reiki actually feel like?" 💜✨

And the honest answer is… everyone's experience is different.

Some people notice warmth or tingling. Others experience a feeling of heaviness or lightness, a sense of deep relaxation, or simply a wonderful feeling of being able to switch off for a while.

You might notice your thoughts becoming quieter. You may become aware of emotions, memories or different sensations. Some people drift into a deeply relaxed state, while others remain completely aware of everything around them.

For some people, the experience can be much more subtle — perhaps simply a sense of calm, relaxation or peacefulness. 💜

There is no right or wrong way to experience Reiki.

Every person comes into a session with their own energy, experiences and needs, so every session can feel a little different.

For me, the most important thing is creating a peaceful, safe and supportive space where you can simply let go, relax and give yourself permission to slow down.

✨ You don't need to "feel" something for Reiki to be meaningful.
✨ You don't need to know anything about energy.
✨ And you don't need to have any previous experience with Reiki.

You simply need to be open to taking some time for yourself 🌿
