A Purpose Built Home for Comfortable Living, Access and Independence

Finding the right home means much more than just finding a place to live. It means feeling comfortable, supported and secure in everyday living.

This HPS SDA purpose-built property situated in Doreen has been created with a focus on making the everyday lives of its two residents comfortable and accessible.

This home includes:

• 2 private bedrooms with fully accessible ensuite in each bedroom
• Bariatric friendly
• OOA room
• Open plan kitchen, dining and living area
• Large shared lounge with big TV screen
• Low maintenance garden with alfresco area

The home is strategically located in close proximity to shopping facilities, medical centers, cafes and other amenities. The newly constructed wheelchair accessible Doreen Train Station is also just a few minutes drive away from the home.

SIL services are provided in the home by Arete Care. Personalized care is provided depending on the preferences and requirements of each resident.

As the right balance of accessible accommodation and personalised support can really make the difference to everyday comfort and independence of people living there.

During Speech Pathology Week, we will recognize all of the ways in which communication can enhance a more connected and fulfilled life for individuals.

Our team recently attended a series of NDIS events, connecting with providers, support coordinators, allied health professionals and advocates from across the sector. The conversations reinforced something we already knew: this community is generous with its experience, honest about its challenges and genuinely committed to working together.

We're grateful for every conversation and every insight shared with us. It's encouraging to be part of a network so focused on improving outcomes for participants and their families.

Every participant's journey is unique. Our role is to provide the encouragement, guidance, and support they need to achieve their personal goals while respecting their independence every step of the way.

Whether it's preparing a meal, building daily living skills, joining the community, or pursuing personal interests, we believe in empowering people to make their own choices and live life on their own terms.

Because true support isn't about taking over. It's about standing beside someone as they build the life they want.
