What a fantastic evening at the RACP LIFT Rapid-Fire Clinical Updates Brisbane event!

Our Director, Dr Greg Parker, joined an outstanding line-up of speakers to share practical insights on advance care planning and its role in supporting better health care outcomes. His presentation challenged common misconceptions, explored how clinicians can invite meaningful conversations, and reinforced the importance of understanding what matters most to patients.

We're delighted to hear the event attracted a record audience and sparked thought-provoking discussions among attendees.

Thank you to The Royal Australasian College of Physicians for hosting such an engaging and impactful event.

It's Aged Care Employee Day!

Today we celebrate the dedicated aged care professionals who help older Australians live with dignity, choice and connection.

To every member of the aged care community workforce, thank you for your compassion, commitment and the difference you make in people's lives.

Please join us and Ageing Australia in recognising our amazing aged care superheroes.

It’s finally here, Aged Care Employee Day! A day dedicated to celebrating the hundreds of thousands of passionate, hardworking people at the heart of aged care.

Today is an opportunity for all of us to pause and say: Thank you for caring.

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of older Australians every single day.

Whether you deliver care in people’s homes, support independence in retirement living, work in residential care, or keep all of those services running from behind the scenes – your contribution matters.

Thank you for everything you do – not just today, but every day.

On behalf of everyone at Ageing Australia, thanks for caring.

The countdown is on to Dying to Know Day 2026.
Now in its 12th year, Dying to Know Day is a national campaign led by Proveda to reduce stigma around death, dying and grief.

This year’s theme, “Nobody Knows”, highlights the distress families and clinicians face when a person’s wishes are unknown.
