ld 😂), but with 16 years of experience he's definitely a cut above the rest of the industries youngins. He began as a sign writer, then started to work with airbrush and finally became a tattoo artist, all the while producing jaw dropping paintings and developing the patience of a saint. His lovely wife Carolann gives us insight to his dedication, "I'll be gone the whole day and he'll have only completed a 2" x 2" square on the painting!" An exaggeration? But the results show us what a creative mind and a little diligence can produce, and it's truly a work of art. Gerry studied Academic drawing and painting at the Edinburgh School of Realist Art and has studied with some of the great masters of academic drawing and painting such as Juliette Aristides. He now teaches others the 'Bargue Method' of drawing; a technique developed in France during the 19th Century. "Anyone can do it" he says, "this technique does not discriminate; my 11 year old can pull it off.
