✨ Thank You, Enhance Movement Community ✨

As I reflect on the last 4 years of Enhance Movement ~ Exercise Physiology, my heart is so full.

To my clients, families, referrers, and the wider community, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your stories, your health, your setbacks, your wins, and your resilience. It has truly been an honour to walk alongside you in your rehabilitation journeys, to celebrate progress (big and small), and to witness strength in so many forms.

This chapter is also marking the beginning of a new one. I’m incredibly excited (and very grateful) to be starting a new journey as a Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology with CQUniversity in Rockhampton. Teaching and shaping future exercise physiologists feels like a natural extension of everything Enhance Movement has always stood for.

Enhance Movement isn’t ending, it’s evolving.
The clinic will be transitioning into a hybrid model, offering virtual services alongside community-based work in Rockhampton, allowing me to continue supporting clients in new and flexible ways.

Over the years, I’ve shared many moments with so many of you —
For some, it has been goodbye.
For others, hello
And for many… I’ll see you soon.

No matter where our paths go from here, please know how deeply grateful I am to have been part of your journey. Enhance Movement has always been about people first and that will never change.

✨ A Heartfelt Thank You as 2025 Comes to a Close ✨

As we come to the end of 2025, I want to take a moment to say thank you to every client and patient who has trusted me with their movement, rehabilitation, and health journey this year.

It has been a privilege to walk alongside you through the wins, the challenges, the hard days, and the moments of progress that don’t always get celebrated enough. Your commitment, resilience, and trust are what make this work so meaningful.

I am incredibly grateful for the conversations, the effort you bring to each session, and the courage it takes to keep showing up especially when it isn’t easy.

As we head into the Christmas period, I wish you and your loved ones a safe, restful, and happy Christmas. Please take care of yourselves, move gently, and enjoy the moments that matter most.

Thank you for being part of the Enhance Movement community. I look forward to supporting you again in the year ahead 💚

💬 Important Update: Exercise Physiology and the NDIS

You may have seen recent news about the NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee (EAC) reviewing several allied health supports — including Exercise Physiology.

👉 What does this mean?
The EAC is currently assessing the evidence and value of Exercise Physiology services under the NDIS. This does not mean services are being removed right now — but the review could influence how Exercise Physiology is funded or accessed in the future.

At Enhance Movement, we see every day how tailored exercise programs improve strength, confidence, and independence for people living with neurological and physical conditions. The benefits are real, measurable, and life-changing.

Out of office alert! 🚨 We'll be taking a long weekend and won't be available on Monday, 6th of October due to the King's Birthday Public Holiday 👑 See you all Tuesday!

We will be taking a little rest over the next 2 weeks as our founder Tash will be taking some time to rest and heal after having a medical procedure done. We will be taking leave from 11.09.2025 to 28.09.2025. Tash will see you all bright and brushy tailed on Monday 29.09.2025. HARD TRUTHS...
Being honest with clients is not about being harsh or mean; it's about being honest, real, and raw. Sometimes, having those difficult and challenging conversations with a client helps to understand what they are navigating at the time, how they manage stress, and what their expectations are, both of themselves and of you as the clinician.

What might be some HARD TRUTHS that you have had with clients, and what did you learn from them? If you are a client who has recieved a HARD TRUTH (even from me) was it helpful? Did it open further discussions that helped you understand where you were in your journey or recovery?
