🧡🩷🩵 A meaningful morning of learning, reflection, and connection
Last week, I had the privilege of spending three hours with the incredible team at Condy Park, working alongside 14 dedicated early childhood teachers and educators.
Across the morning, we explored:
• Presuming competence
• Meeting children and families where they are
• Supporting nervous systems before expecting behaviour
Each educator was also provided with a reflective practice journal, which we returned to across all three workshops — creating space to pause, notice, and reflect on how these ideas show up in everyday practice.
What stood out most was the openness in the room — the willingness to pause, reflect, and gently rethink how we support children and ourselves in early learning settings.
This work isn’t about doing more.
It’s about seeing differently, responding with curiosity, and creating environments where children feel safe, capable, and truly belonging.
Thank you to the Condy Park team for your honesty, care, and commitment to children. I’m really looking forward to continuing to work together throughout 2026, walking alongside the team through ongoing coaching and mentoring.🩵🩷🧡
