What a beautiful Friday morning! 💗

15 lovely ladies joined us for our Friday Walk & Talk today. Thank you to everyone who came along! 🥰

We started off a little chilly, but it didn’t take long to defrost as we walked along the Esplanade, taking in those gorgeous views, fresh air, sunshine and plenty of chats and laughs along the way. ☀️🌊🚶‍♀️

There’s something so special about starting the day outside, moving our bodies and connecting with other women.

There was plenty of meeting, greeting, laughter and catching up with our awesome Women’s Walk & Talk friends, followed by coffee and chats afterwards. ☕💬

We would like to warmly welcome and celebrate our new Director for Women’s Walk & Talk Hervey Bay

Allie Betoni is the Director of Women’s Walk & Talk Hervey Bay and the founder of EmpowHEARD.

Allie calls Hervey Bay home and lives locally with her family. She loves the sense of community that comes with life on the Fraser Coast and believes some of the most meaningful connections happen through ordinary conversations, shared experiences and simply having somewhere you feel you belong.

Her own life experiences have shaped a deep appreciation for how powerful it can be to feel understood, included and connected, particularly during seasons when life feels difficult or isolating.

For Allie, Women’s Walk & Talk Hervey Bay is about keeping that sense of connection and belonging strong giving local women a welcoming place to walk, talk, laugh and build genuine friendships.

Allie is coming to every walk this week, so please come and celebrate the walks with us this week!

It was wonderful seeing everyone smiling, full of energy and bringing such beautiful good vibes to the walk.

💙 Happy Father’s Day

Today we celebrate the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, father figures and men who play an important role in the lives of those around them.

Father’s Day is also a good reminder that looking after our mental health matters.

For many men, being the person others rely on can sometimes make it harder to speak up when things aren’t going well. But strength isn’t about carrying everything on your own. A conversation, checking in with a mate, or reaching out for support can make a real difference.

Today, take a moment to check in with the dads and men in your life — not just to wish them a Happy Father’s Day, but to genuinely ask how they’re going.

And to all the fathers and father figures across the Fraser Coast — thank you for the support, guidance, love and strength you bring to your families and our community.
