🍔🌴 TROPICAL CHICKEN BURGERS & WARM FRUIT CRUMBLE 🌴🍔

Get ready for a delicious tropical-inspired cooking class that's packed with flavour, fun and friendship! ☀️🍍

Join us on Wednesday 17th June as we create juicy Tropical Chicken Burgers loaded with tasty toppings and fresh tropical flavours. Then we'll finish things off with a comforting serving of Warm Fruit Crumble and Custard for dessert. 🥧🍮

Our cooking classes are about so much more than food. Participants have the opportunity to build confidence in the kitchen, develop independent living skills, practise teamwork, make new friends and enjoy a fun and supportive environment.

Do you have a passion for helping others live their best life? At EYDS, we're growing and looking for compassionate, reliable and motivated Support Workers to join our amazing team.

Every day is different. From supporting participants in their homes, helping them access their community, attending appointments, participating in activities and building independence, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life.

💜 What We're Looking For:
✔ A positive and person-centred approach
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Reliability and strong work ethic
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Compassion, patience and understanding
✔ Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends if required
✔ Commitment to upholding participant choice, control and dignity
✔ A genuine passion for supporting people to achieve their goals

📋 Essential Requirements:
✔ NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)
✔ Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
✔ Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
✔ Current Australian Driver's Licence
✔ Reliable and insured vehicle
✔ Smartphone with ability to use apps and complete shift notes
✔ Rights to work in Australia

⭐ Desirable Qualifications & Experience: • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or similar. (advantageous but not essential)

Join us on Wednesday 10th June for a delicious day of cooking, friendship and fresh air!

This week we'll be creating mouth-watering Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Taco Boats served with a fresh and colourful Greek Salad. Participants will have the opportunity to assist with food preparation, learn new kitchen skills, make choices about ingredients and enjoy the satisfaction of creating a meal together.

After lunch, we'll head out to enjoy a relaxing beach walk, taking in the beautiful ocean views, fresh sea breeze and spending quality time with friends. 🌊💙

Our cooking classes are about so much more than food. Participants build confidence, develop independent living skills, practise communication and teamwork, and most importantly have fun in a supportive and welcoming environment.

🍓🚌 DAY TRIPPERS – BUNDABERG ADVENTURE! 🚌🍓

Who's ready for an amazing day out? 🙌

Join us on Thursday 11th June as our Day Trippers hit the road for a fun-filled adventure to Bundaberg! This exciting day will be packed with sightseeing, exploration, great company and plenty of opportunities to make memories with friends.

Our first stop is the iconic Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, where we'll enjoy a tour and learn about how some of Australia's favourite drinks are made. 🥤

We'll then head out to beautiful Bargara, where participants can enjoy the stunning coastal scenery, explore the area, relax with friends and enjoy either a packed lunch or purchase something while we're there. 🌊☀️

Before heading home, we'll stop at the always-popular Tinaberries, where participants can enjoy yard games, explore the grounds and treat themselves to a delicious ice cream. 🍓🍦

At EYDS, our Day Trippers program is all about building confidence, increasing community participation, creating meaningful friendships and having fun while exploring all that our region has to offer.
