🎉 A Year of Making a Difference! 🎉

Today we're celebrating Our Place Kids Therapy and the incredible journey we've shared with families and educators across our community.

From the moment we opened our doors, our mission has been clear: to support children with developmental delays, disabilities, and diverse needs through evidence-based, family-centred therapy that works in the real world – at home, in early childhood services, and in the community.

This year, we've had the privilege of:
✨ Supporting families navigate NDIS planning with confidence
✨ Coaching educators to create truly inclusive environments
✨ Watching children thrive through our Key Worker model
✨ Building genuine partnerships with schools and centres
✨ Creating moments of joy, progress, and belonging

But the real celebration is YOU – our families, educators, referral partners, and the beautiful children we've had the honour to work alongside. Your trust, your openness, and your commitment to your children's development makes everything we do meaningful.

Thank you for believing in us. We can't wait to continue this journey together.

Here's to another year of inclusion, growth, and genuine support. 💚

Hervey Bay is the kind of place where work and life actually fit together — coastal living, a relaxed pace, and a genuinely family-friendly community, without giving up connection to the rest of Australia. With a local airport offering direct flights to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, you can enjoy the sea-change lifestyle while staying close to major cities.

At Our Place Kids Therapy (OPKT), you’ll pair that lifestyle with a role that’s professionally rewarding: a supportive transdisciplinary team (EITs, OT and Speech), monthly supervision, a $1,000 annual PD budget, and a compressed 4-day week (paid for 5) so your weekends are actually yours.

- $1,000 per year professional development budget
You must have
- Early Childhood degree
- Proven Key Worker experience (developmental delay/disability)
- Full driver’s licence
- Blue Card / NDIS Worker Screening / AFP check (or ability to obtain)

Highly desirable: Postgraduate studies in Early Childhood Intervention; experience delivering Hanen programs; experience delivering Routines-Based Early Intervention (RBEI).
