Is your child struggling with separation anxiety? Contented Child offers helpful insights! Check it out here:👶💔
Separation anxiety can feel huge to a child — but support doesn’t have to begin with huge changes.
Often it is the small, predictable things repeated consistently that help a child begin to feel safer: knowing what will happen, having a familiar goodbye routine, understanding when you will return and gradually building their confidence with manageable separations.
The aim isn’t to remove every anxious feeling for them. It’s to help them learn, little by little, “This feels hard, but I can get through it.”
This is the second post in today’s Separation Anxiety set. Signs of Separation Anxiety was shared earlier, and From the Inside will follow later today.
Save this one for the moments when separation is feeling particularly difficult.
