Every person communicates. But not always with words.

A communication dictionary is one of the most practical and underused tools in behaviour support. It translates how a specific person communicates so that everyone around them can understand and respond consistently.

Swipe through to learn what it is, why it matters, and why it could make a real difference for the person you support.

This one means a lot coming from a fellow provider who has seen plenty of PBS practitioners over the years.

When the people working alongside your participants every day are telling you the strategies are practical, easy to use and actually working, that is the goal. That is exactly what we are here for.

Thank you Big 5 Support Services. We love working alongside you.

If you are a support provider looking for a PBS partner on the Fraser Coast, give us a call.

This is exactly what we set out to build.

Taking the time to truly listen before jumping to solutions is something we will never compromise on. Every family deserves to feel heard before anything else happens.

If you have been looking for a PBS provider that actually takes the time to understand your situation, reach out today.

Same person. Same house. Same routine. But a different support worker turns up and everything falls apart.

If you have seen this happen, there is a clinical reason behind it. Consistency between support workers is one of the most underrated factors in behaviour support and one of the most important.

Swipe through to find out why, and what you can do about it.

This one means a lot to us.

When a parent tells you that their son is connecting differently with the people around him, that is exactly the kind of outcome we built Bright Future to create. Thank you Zoe for trusting us with your family.

If you are looking for a PBS provider on the Fraser Coast, we would love to hear from you.

Bright Future Disability Connections has immediate capacity for PBS referrals and we want to make your job easier.

Here is what you can expect when you refer to us:

A fast response to every referral. A registered, qualified PBS team that meets NDIS Practice Standards. Clear communication with you and the participant’s support network throughout the process. A provider that actually shows up and stays consistent for your participants.

We know how hard it is to find a reliable PBS provider. We built Bright Future specifically to fill that gap.

If you have participants on your caseload who need behaviour support, we would love to connect. Send us a referral or pick up the phone for an informal chat about how we can work together.

Every behaviour has a cycle. And the earlier you spot where someone is in it, the better your chance of changing how it ends.

We have mapped out the full seven stages using one of the most common triggers we see, a denied request, so you can see exactly what it looks like in real life and what to do at each stage.

Swipe through, save it, and share it with someone who needs it.

If you are supporting someone whose behaviour is impacting their daily life and you want support from a company that is lead by owners who live this too, reach out today or submit a referral.

Say hello to Hayley, one of the amazing Behaviour Support Practitioners here at Bright Future Disability Connections!

Before joining BFDC, Hayley spent six years teaching in local high schools. She loves helping kids, teens, adults, and families feel more confident, build strong relationships, and reach their goals.

Hayley is almost finished with her Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling. She is also doing extra training to become a counsellor. She always wants to learn more so she can give the best support to the people she works with. Her approach is caring, positive, and based on real evidence.

Hayley is also a mum to two young boys. This gives her extra understanding when she supports families. She knows how to create a safe space where people feel heard and supported.

When she’s not at work, Hayley loves camping with her family, growing her plant collection, and making resin art. 🌱🎨

Welcome to the team, Hayley! We are so happy to have you. 🧡
