Many people think RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) is just another cold virus. However, for some older adults and newborn babies, RSV can cause serious breathing problems and even lead to hospitalisation.
We have seen firsthand how respiratory illnesses can significantly impact individuals and families in our local community. Vaccination is a simple step that may help reduce the risk of severe RSV infection.
You may be eligible for a FREE RSV vaccine if you are:
✅ Aged 75 years and over
✅ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 60 years and over
✅ Pregnant between 28 and 36 weeks gestation
