Sometimes the person who spends so much time helping others needs to take a little time to refill her own cup. 🤍

So, I’ll be taking a break for the remainder of 2026.

I’m incredibly grateful for every beautiful person who has walked through my clinic door, trusted me with their healing journey and supported my little business. You’ve made this work so incredibly rewarding. 🥰

I will be working again in 2027, but I’m going to be doing things a little differently. I’m taking this time to rest, reflect and work out what the next chapter of A Welcome Change looks like.

For now… it’s time for me to slow down, breathe, enjoy life and fill my own cup. 💕

Thank you for being part of my journey. xx

I have added a new form of a traditional remedy into clinic. Traditionally, I have used Moxibustion where you light a moxa stick and use the heat it generates over an acupressure point, however, I now have this beautiful spray, balm and drops that do the same thing, but without the stress of lighting something up. 🤣🔥♨️

✨ What is Moxibustion? ✨

Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that uses the warming properties of mugwort (moxa) to gently heat specific acupuncture points. This warmth is believed to improve circulation, encourage the flow of Qi (life force energy), and help the body move out of “stuck” patterns.

It has traditionally been used to support a wide range of concerns, including digestive issues, muscle and joint pain, headaches, menstrual discomfort, fatigue, and cold or stagnant conditions.

I love adding new remedies to my clinic!!!

As women, we’re so good at making sure everyone else is okay… but how often do we check in with ourselves?

Even though I’m a kinesiologist, I sometimes forget to muscle test and tune into what my body needs. 😢

Looking after yourself isn’t selfish—it’s one of the kindest things you can do for yourself and everyone who relies on you.

✨ When was the last time you truly checked in with yourself?

I have been really drawn to flowers lately, in clinic, in the house, in artwork, flower essences (always, of course), so I couldn’t resist these beautiful floral oracle cards.

They are the Flower Medicine Oracle Deck by artist Cathy Nichols - and they are beautiful.

Flowers, in general, can help balance energy by carrying unique vibrational frequencies that gently support emotional wellbeing and harmony within the body. Their colours, scents, and natural beauty can help shift stagnant energy, promote positive feelings, and create a greater sense of balance and calm. 🌸✨ Make today the day that you shout yourself a beautiful bunch of flowers or get creative and use the nature around you.

Hello 🤍

A little update from me — as of 1st July, there will be a small increase to my kinesiology session fees.

This decision is never one I make lightly. I’ve always wanted my clinic to feel like a safe, supportive and accessible space where people can come to truly heal — body, mind and spirit ✨

Over the past year, I’ve continued investing deeply into further training, new modalities, resources and tools so I can support my clients on an even deeper level. From nervous system work and energy balancing to spinal, emotional and holistic healing techniques, I’m constantly learning and evolving to give you the very best care possible 🌿

This fee adjustment helps me continue providing the time, care, energy and high-quality treatments that go into every session.

If you’ve been thinking about booking in, current pricing will remain in place until 30th June, so now is the perfect time to secure your appointment 💫

I’m so incredibly grateful for every person who trusts me to be part of their healing journey. Your support means more than you know 🤍

I had such a fun weekend teaching the EMK Meridian Rivers of Chi course. My favourite part was watching the students walk around for a few hours with red sticky dots on their bodies, depicting the alarm points that we had just learnt.

The two days flew by and the students learnt so much about the 14 meridians, their associated emotions, organs, acupressure points and remedies.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, your feet are a huge deal energetically — not just physically.

Here’s the theory behind it:

Your feet are where a bunch of important meridians either start or pass through — especially the Kidney meridian. And in TCM, your Kidneys are basically your core life force (Chi) …think deep energy reserves, vitality, ageing, resilience.

Now here’s the key part…

Cold is considered an external pathogen in TCM. When your feet get cold, that cold can literally enter the body through the soles and start to mess with your internal balance.

And what does cold do energetically?
• Slows everything down
• Causes stagnation (tight, achy, stuck energy)
• Weakens Kidney energy over time
• Can impact circulation, digestion, even reproductive energy

Keeping your feet warm helps:
✨ Protect your Kidney energy
✨ Keep Qi and Blood flowing smoothly
✨ Support your nervous system
✨ Ground and stabilise your whole body

There’s also an acupoint on the sole of your foot called Kidney 1 (Yongquan) — it’s like your body’s grounding plug 🔌
When that point gets cold, your whole system can feel it.

Honestly, it’s one of those tiny habits that makes a big energetic difference.

If you want to take it next level:
• Warm socks (obviously)
• Foot baths 👌
• Even just rubbing the soles of your feet before bed

It’s a “low effort, high impact” habit!

A new career incoming, perhaps?

Spending lots of time landscaping and working in the garden lately and I was even allowed (encouraged actually) to play on the bobcat. 😳
