Hello community,

My name is Mathieu Bremaud . I’m a Remedial Massage Therapist (RMT) and passionate about improving access to effective, compassionate care for those who need it most.

📣 Are you, or someone you care for, living with disability — and would benefit from remedial massage therapy?

If your answer is yes, this is important.

Did you know qualified Remedial Massage Therapists are excluded from providing NDIS-funded services? This means many NDIS participants are to pay out of pocket or miss out on treatment altogether — even when massage therapy helps reduce pain, improve movement, manage stress, and support daily functioning.

Today, we have a real opportunity to change this.
All I’m asking is 15–20 minutes of your time (perhaps your good deed for the day 💛). By adding your voice, you can help remove barriers and improve access to essential care for people who truly need it.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is currently consulting on reforms to the definition of an NDIS provider.

AMT is making a comprehensive submission to advocate for our profession's inclusion in the NDIS provider framework. However, personal stories from NDIS participants are the most powerful evidence for change.

A week after injury, on the 23rd July 2023.
I went to ER, for neck cervical issue. And dislocated AC joint to RPA. after multiple check up , 12hours later i could go home with a broken shoulder and back 4 days later for surgery...
Surgery was not fun as i was an emergency patient. I had to wait to get room for me as my procedure was not planned and they thought i was a tempory resident !
Then when i got discharged, they could not find anyone to signed me off until 3hours later a random orthepedic surgeon started her shift and kindly told me to go home.... but i still dont know what should i do next...
I am not working, which put my familly in hardship.
Lucky my friends and cycling club put together 2 pages to raise money for bills and for you to pay less taxes.
