I watched these 10 chicks hatch & now all I want to do is teach these guys to scratch around in the dirt & eat grubs. There is wedge tailed eagle who is very interested so they have to be well supervised. Featuring the calendula which is blossoming so well at the moment!

When you run out of brown bottles, use whatever you can! It looks spectacular actually- my freshest yarrow tincture with my new label. I’m so loving being able to seasonally harvest bio-regional plants for medicine. This one is going in a mix to support circulation and the vascular system with everything happening in the world, the swirl of polarity, I’m feeling the need to get back to the garden whenever I can and use energetically protective herbs. Fight and protest against the injustice where I can. But then come back and ground. Be aware of what’s happening in the world but fight the doom scrolll. Make medicine to support the communities health.

Just finished my first social work placement, which feels exciting and like an achievement. I learnt a lot during this time, but I’m also really aware of how much there still is to learn.
One thing I did love was creating a professional development session on managing stress using self-care and nutritional strategies. It felt good to bring my naturopathy background into the space while building new social work skills — and to see how those worlds can actually sit together.
A big takeaway for me is that while nutritional support can help, it’s not a fix-all. Learning my own limits, noticing when things start to feel too much, and having some non-negotiables around self-care matters — even though it’s often the first thing to slide.
I’m also thinking a lot about community. About how much we rely on each other, and how collective care isn’t always neat or easy, but it’s necessary.
I will be taking new clients in the new year so reach out if you want to work on any health issues or pass this on to family or friends who may need some support.
