Anyone who’s healed one knows these aren’t a quick fling.

These do need a lot of love but also need to be executed perfectly (I wish I was being dramatic) and the healing journey is definitely a marathon, not a sprint.

But you'll need to be in it for the long haul if you want something special. ✨

It's been a while since we've had any video content! Philtrums are one of my absolute favourite piercings. I love them aesthetically and I love doing them as they're fun and quite technical so I'm always excited when I see one pop up in the appointments.

This one is pierced "inside-out" without tools. There is nothing wrong if you see a piercer using tools or clamps to support tissue - as long as they are used correctly it really just comes down to user preference. There are many safe ways to perform the same piercing.

Any fellow piercers watching - I'm always happy to answer questions about anything to do with the process or technique also.

I've pierced thousands of lobes. So it's not too often I say "I REALLY want to pierce these lobes". Here's a rare exception.

We talked about this one over a year ago and happy we finally made it happen.

Ears vary so much more than people realise. And variety is what makes it fun.
Here I opted for a bead on the back of one and a flat disc on the other that best suit the contours of each lobe.
It also highlights the importance of seeing a professional who can assess anatomy and assist with the best possible outcome for successful healing - even for lobes. 💖
