Gut - Skin microbiome and it's relationship
Bacteria in the skin isn't just "good or bad" it's an eco system that works together
One bacteria overgrowing in the skin (like strep) can cause others to become disrupted. It's like having one bad guy at a party and bringing all its friends around for a better time.
You can't eradicate ALL the bad in your gut and skin biome but they do need some control in order for your immune system to take control and allow the good guys to come party too.
Some situations like enterococcus overgrowth in the gut can allow immune system dysregulation, increase of inflammatory chemicals and other pathogens to come in and play (like parasites and other bacteria species)
