We’re pretty excited to have Felix 251213 joining the Mallee Park stud ram team.

We purchased this young stud ram from Felix and were particularly impressed with the strength of his performance data.

A few figures that really stood out:

LEQ 177.36 – Top 5%
PWT 18.90 – Top 5%
CEMD 5.01 – Top 10%
WWT 12.14 – Top 10%
PEMD 3.60 – Top 20%

These figures are based on the new Combination data through LAMBPLAN, which will supersede the existing performance data over the next couple of years.

For us, it’s about looking ahead. We want to be selecting genetics now that will continue to deliver for our clients into the future.

We’re looking forward to seeing what this ram can add to the Mallee Park breeding program.

Yesterday, Fergus and Jacey were out on the floor with our White Suffolk rams at the Australian Sheep & Wool Show.

It’s always good to see breeders from right across the country, have a yarn and see the quality of sheep on display.

Today it’s the Poll Dorset judging. Best of luck to everyone stepping into the ring.
