Glutes, Abductor and Adductor Muscles.

These muscle groups form a crucial foundational support system every time your foot makes contact with the ground when running.

For runners, glutes provide propulsion, adductors provide stability and support, and hip thrusts build the strength needed for powerful hip extension. Together, they create a stronger, more efficient running stride, allowing you to run faster, longer, and with a lower risk of injury.

✅️Roman Chair Back Extension
Works back muscle, Hamstring & Glutes

✅️ Single Alternate Leg Extension. Works Quads and knees

Why are these 2 exercise effective for runners?
they address the unilateral demands of running, correct muscular imbalances, and isolate the exact stabilizing muscles required to maintain an efficient stride and absorb impact.

Roman Chair Back Extensions

Core & Postural Stability: Running requires continuous, upright core endurance. Back extensions target the spinal erectors, helping you avoid the hunched posture that often sets in over long distances.

This movement helps balance the pelvis and reduces lower back strain.

Single-Leg Extensions

Training each leg individually eliminates "bilateral deficit" (where the stronger leg compensates for the weaker one), evening out asymmetries.

Single-leg extensions isolate the quadriceps, including the re**us femoris, which is vital for active knee drive and stride turnover. Strengthening the quads dramatically improves knee joint stability, helping to prevent overuse issues like runner's knee or IT band syndrome.
