💜Join us in celebrating Multicultural Health Week 2026!
This year’s theme, ‘Improving our mental health and wellbeing through physical activity’, reminds us that caring for our minds and bodies go hand in hand.
At Nutrition NSW, we know that movement and healthy eating work together to support overall wellbeing. Regular physical activity can help improve mood, energy, sleep and confidence, while nourishing foods provide the fuel our bodies need to move, connect and feel well.
For multicultural communities, food, movement and connection are often shared through family, culture and community. Whether it’s walking with friends, dancing, gardening, cooking together or enjoying balanced meals, small everyday choices can support better mental health and wellbeing.
“Physical activity and good nutrition are both powerful ways to support healthier, more connected communities. This Multicultural Health Week, we encourage people across NSW to find simple ways to move more, eat well and care for their wellbeing,” said Cr Barbara Ward, Nutrition NSW President.
