Kura Support would like to remind everyone that flu season is upon us! 😪🤧😷
For the safety of our staff and other participants, we kindly ask that if you are unwell, please advise us so that we can reschedule your support to when you are feeling better.
We work with many vulnerable participants, and some of our staff members also return home to vulnerable family members. So our priority for safe practice against viruses is of utmost importance.
Here are some useful tips to help keep you and your loved once, fighting fit this flu season. 💪
‼️ Practice Good Hygiene: Wash your hands often with soap and water. When you are on the go, carry an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
‼️ Cough and Sneeze Etiquette: Always sneeze or cough into a tissue or your upper sleeve—never into your hands.
‼️ Prioritize Sleep: Aim for at least 7 to 8 hours of quality sleep a night to help keep your immune system functioning optimally.
‼️ Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day, as staying hydrated helps thin mucus and prevents dehydration.
‼️ Eat Nutrient-Rich Foods: Focus on a balanced diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables to ensure you are getting essential vitamins like Vitamin C.
Let's all work together this flu season. 😊
