We’ve had a great time over the past few Fridays with the relaunch of Lego Night.

We’d love to welcome even more creatives to join in and share their love of Lego in an inclusive, supportive space - where there are no limits to imagination.

If you or someone you know are free Friday's from 4pm-6pm, and love to get creative - we'd love to see you there!

We are so proud of our participant Kimmy, who achieved a huge personal milestone over the weekend by heading on her very first interstate trip with supports, Kodie.

It was a wonderful weekend filled with shopping, coffee stops, and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the experience. Kimmy’s hard work and dedication have made moments like this possible, and it was incredible to see her goal come to life.

Her smile said it all the entire weekend - you truly couldn’t wipe it off her face.

Congratulations, Kimmy, on taking this big step forward. We’re so proud of you and can’t wait to see what you achieve next.

Happy Monday - How are you feeling today?

This mood chart is a simple way to help us check in with ourselves and each other when words feel difficult.

Being able to recognise and name how we feel is an important part of looking after our wellbeing. When we communicate our emotions - whether it’s happiness, worry, anger, or just feeling “okay” - we give others a chance to understand us better and respond with care.

Sometimes we don’t need long explanations. Sometimes a single word, number, or feeling is enough to say “this is where I’m at today.”

Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. 💛

Feel free to use this chart anytime as a gentle way to check in with yourself or someone else.

Image description:
A colorful mood chart titled “How are you feeling today?” showing seven cartoon faces representing emotions: happy, sad, surprised, worried, angry, excited, and neutral/okay. Each emotion is labeled and arranged in a simple, easy-to-read layout designed for quick emotional self-reporting.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and supported our Support Links Biggest Morning Tea in aid of the Cancer Council Australia💛

Thanks to your generosity, we raised $152 to help support those affected by cancer and contribute toward vital research, support services, and hope for a future without cancer.

We’re so grateful for every donation, every conversation, and every person who took the time to be part of such a meaningful cause. Together, we’re helping make a difference. ☕✨

Just a friendly reminder that our Biggest Morning Tea is happening tomorrow from 10am–12pm at our office, 1/190 Invermay Road ☕🍰

We’d love for you to join us for a cuppa and some treats, all while supporting a wonderful cause. A gold coin donation is appreciated, with all proceeds going towards helping find a cure for cancer.

We would love to see you there and share this special morning together.

Just a reminder that next Friday, the 22nd of May at 10am - we are hosting My Support Link's Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, fundraising for Cancer council - a charity very close to our hearts.
The Morning Tea will be held at our Invermay Office at 1/190 Invermay Road.
We will have a display of all our loved ones that have been effected by this nasty disease, to pay our respects and remind us all how fragile life is. 1 in 18 Australians will have been diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime by 2040; cancer survival rates are the highest they have ever been.
Gold coin donation would be very much appreciated.
If you can't make it, but still wish to donate the link to our donation page is: https://www.biggestmorningtea.com.au/s/104646/161139

Our Monday Craft Group kicked off the week with a calm and creative 3D painting session 🎨✨

There’s something so special about slowing down, getting creative, and enjoying time together - and our participants absolutely loved bringing their beautiful artworks to life! From colourful florals to bright citrus designs, every piece was unique and filled with personality.

A relaxing and joyful way to start the week at My Support Link 💙

⚠️ Emergency Alert Test - Australia
A scheduled AusAlert system test is coming up. This is a routine test to ensure emergency warnings work when they’re needed most.

If this noise could disrupt you or cause you to feel unsafe,
please turn off your mobile devices or switch them to aeroplane
mode before the test time, and leave them off for at least one hour.

If you receive a test alert while driving or riding, don’t pick up your
mobile phone.

No action is required, but staying informed helps keep our community prepared, and aware so it doesn't cause panic.
AusAlert test messages will clearly say they are a test. But in an actual emergency, follow the AusAlert instructions to keep yourself and others safe.

More details in the link - feel free to share.

Join us every Tuesday for a welcoming day of connection, creativity, and community at The Hub in Riverside!

10:00am – 2:00pm | Games Day
Start the day with fun, relaxed social time. Enjoy puzzles, board games, and card games alongside friends, peers, and supports. It’s a great chance to connect, share a laugh, and enjoy some friendly competition in a supportive environment.

2:00pm – 5:00pm | Sewing Group
In the afternoon, we shift into creativity and hands-on making. Work together as a group on sewing projects to create practical, usable items. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, everyone is welcome to contribute and learn new skills.

Come along for part of the day or stay for the whole session — we’d love to see you there!

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating Victoria’s birthday with a special lunch @ The Mowbray Hotel, surrounded by wonderful friends and great company. The smile never left the birthday girl’s face, and it was clear she felt truly celebrated and loved.

We were so honoured to be part of such a special day and to share in the joy of celebrating Victoria. A heartfelt thank you to all of her friends and support team who attended and helped make the day even more memorable.

Wishing you the happiest of birthdays, Victoria!
