Our Group Program enjoyed a fantastic day out at Rocks Riverside Park this week! 🌳🌭

Participants spent the morning enjoying a BBQ lunch, colouring activities, games, and a scavenger hunt around the park. It was wonderful to see everyone working together, exploring the beautiful surroundings, and building social connections in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Days like these are a great opportunity to develop confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and community participation while having plenty of fun along the way.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a great day! 💜

🌹 A lovely Sunday outing for Diane and Jodie! 🐸

The pair spent the day exploring Froggies Rest, taking in the beautiful gardens, peaceful water features, and unique treasures throughout the grounds.

Diane enjoyed wandering through the lush surroundings, stopping to admire the scenery, snap a few photos, and finish the day with a delicious lunch. 📸🌿

Community outings like these are a wonderful way to get out and about, enjoy new experiences, and make the most of a beautiful Queensland day.

It looks like a fantastic day was had by all! 💜

🌇 Weekend adventures in Brisbane! 🌇

Adam and Shaun had a fantastic day out with Support worker Andrew, exploring the city and taking in the incredible views from the Sky Deck.

From looking out across the Brisbane skyline to standing high above the river on the glass floor, the day was filled with new experiences, community engagement, and plenty of smiles. The trio enjoyed sightseeing, exploring the city together, and making the most of a beautiful Queensland day.

It’s always great to see participants building confidence, enjoying social outings, and creating positive memories while exploring everything our local community has to offer.

What a lovely morning for Lily and Lucy! 💜

The pair spent the morning out in the community, visiting the children's library before heading along to watch Michael.

Lily had an absolute ball, especially when the music started! She couldn't resist singing along and showing off some dance moves in the aisle, bringing plenty of smiles to everyone around her. 🎶💃

Moments like these are a great example of community participation in action, building confidence, having fun, and creating meaningful connections while doing the things she enjoys most.

This week, our Group Program headed out to the art gallery for a day of creativity, sensory exploration, conversation, and community connection 🎨✨

From interactive exhibits and hands-on sensory activities to exploring different artworks and sharing thoughts together, the group had such a fun and engaging day. We love creating opportunities for our participants to experience new environments, build confidence in the community, and connect with others through shared experiences.

Yesterday, the Ellie Jane Support Services crew had the absolute pleasure of handing out 156 free sausage sizzles at the Leichhardt One Mile Community Centre 🌭💜

It was such a fantastic day connecting with the community, meeting new faces, catching up with familiar ones, and spending time with so many wonderful people. Events like these are what community is all about, good conversations, friendly faces, and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and included.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, grab a sausage, and support the day. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again soon! 🥰🙌
