You want to know the key to fat loss? Finding a method that will let you most likely STICK to a calorie deficit.... aka find a nutritional strategy you LEAST hate life on and do that. Just be in a calorie deficit. That’s it. .
Pretty simple right? But people keep getting tricked into thinking certain diets are magic by s**t people on Instagram. ALL diets aimed at fat loss have the same common denominator - a calorie deficit. .
I’m always amazed at people who become obsessed with things like keto or fasting. They say they do it “because it works”. News flash, it all fu***ng works if you stick to it. There is NO magic to any of this stuff. If you hate a certain diet. Don’t say you have tried everything and can’t lose. Chances are you have tried the same s**t diet over and over again
People need to know though, that it’s not the method that’s the reason for their fat loss. Everyone is married to these fu***ng methods insta gurus sell. If you don’t like keto or fasting, don’t do it! .
I like flexible dieting. If you don’t like it don’t do it. Simply choose a method that works for you and you least feel like your on a diet. The best diet again, comes back to the one you can see yourself doing long term! .
Just understand the basics. Comply to the principles of energy balance. .
Eat a sufficient amount of protein. .
Then for the most part, choose a carb and fat ratio you enjoy. Yes more elite clients they may be optimal ranges for performance, but for the majority of you, the basics win out. .
Then then the big one...Just hit your calorie goals!! Consistently. Have a bad day, then get on track the next day .
And then move! Actually use your body! You will be amazed at what even increasing a little bit of your daily movement does for you
The more knowledge people have, the more accessible fat loss and health is to everyone. That’s why these kinda posts are so important to making people realise why things actually work! It’s good coaches duties, to stop letting desperate people be gurud by s**t Instagram coaches!!! .

I 100% agree with this, no matter how much you eat healthy or train, if you aren’t happy with your thoughts, they are going to over take and drag you down 😳🤔 I find it easy to take 10-20 mins of my day to watch Ted-Talks and/or go for a walk to clear my mind or even sit on my bedroom floor and just reflect on life ❤️ and honestly it works wonders

GOOD CAL, BAD CAL - is it a thing?
A calorie, in the simplest definition, is a unit of energy. So then the question is, do different types of calories affect our body differently?
Is 1000cals of chocolate exactly the same as 1000cals of chicken and vegetables?
Does your body process the above two examples of food differently?
Does the food you eat impact your health outside of the context of just weight loss?
The short answer is to a certain extent yes a calorie is just a calorie but in some contexts, there is more to it.
Food QUALITY & QUANTITY very much go hand in hand, what you eat is important but also how much is equally important.
Remember - you can’t out-train a bad diet, you won’t see results. On the flip side if your calorie intake is spot on in a deficit, you’re training and losing weight each week but are lacking nutrient dense foods or not meeting your macros - you’re not only going to feel like rubbish, but you'll lose weight rather than fat - not ideal.
NOTE! When it comes to JUST weight loss (so not focusing on muscle vs. fat ratio, body composition and how you look, health, performance, or energy levels), eating fewer calories than you burn every day will be the driver for this goal.
But more importantly going off how you look and feel, whether or not you’re healthy, and performing with high energy day to day - you will need to focus on the types of food you eat and FOOD QUALITY. So what is a focus on food quality beneficial for?
1. Energy
2. Body composition
3. Satiety
4. Mental health and your relationship with food
5. Micronutrients for overall health and functionality

Goodmorning everyone, just a quick update....
