At RealCare Assist Ipswich, we believe great support is about so much more than simply showing up for a shift. It’s about connection, confidence, new experiences, independence and having some fun along the way! 💙

Our Participants and Support Workers have been out and about making the most of some fantastic opportunities — from 🎳 ten-pin bowling, 🏖️ days at the beach, 🎡 experiencing the Brisbane Ekka, 🎨 exploring craft shows, learning new life skills and plenty more!

These moments are what person-centred support is all about: helping each Participant experience their community, try new things, build confidence and enjoy activities that are meaningful to them.

At RealCare Assist, our Participants and our staff are never just a number. They are people, and we are committed to creating a supportive culture where people feel valued, respected, heard and supported.

RealCare Assist is looking for compassionate and reliable Female Disability Support Workers to join our growing team supporting participants across the Ipswich region, Fernvale, and surrounding areas.

💙 What we're looking for:
✔ Experience in disability support
✔ Availability for weekends and sleepover shifts
✔ NDIS Worker Screening Card
✔ Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
✔ Current First Aid & CPR
✔ Driver Licence (minimum P2), reliable vehicle, and smartphone
✔ A genuine passion for helping others achieve their goals and live independently

🎄✨ What a Celebration! ✨🎄

Our RealCare Assist Christmas Party truly went off with a bang yesterday! 🎉

We shared a delicious hot lunch, indulged in yummy desserts (including a very special homemade dessert made by one of our amazing Participants 💛), enjoyed lots of laughs over bingo, and of course—presents galore! 🎁

It was such a wonderful opportunity for our Participants and staff to come together, connect, and celebrate in a fun, caring, and inclusive environment—exactly what RealCare Assist is all about.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. 🌟

What We Offer:

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience in disability support is preferred but not essential

* Genuine care and empathy for others

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Reliable, responsible, and committed

* NDIS Worker Screening Card or willingness to apply

* A Working with Children check - Blue card or willingness to apply

* Current First Aid and CPR certificate

* Current and valid Drivers Licence

* Access to a reliable vehicle and smart phone

*** If you already hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, that would be an advantage, however this is not necessary. A genuine passion for helping people is ***

Your Role:

Assist participants with daily living activities

Support community participation and personal goals

Ensure the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of participants
