π Sometimes We Meet People Who Are Simply Running on Empty π
The parent who has spent years holding everything together.
The one attending school meetings, managing appointments, advocating, researching, supporting meltdowns, carrying the mental load, and somehow still trying to show up every day.
The parent who finally gets their teenager through high school...
Only to find them sitting at home afterwards, isolated, lacking motivation, struggling to find their next step, and not eligible for the support they desperately need.
We meet autistic parents raising autistic children.
Both trying their best.
Both overwhelmed.
Both feeding off each other's stress, anxiety, exhaustion, and emotions because neither has the right support around them.
We meet participants who have NDIS funding but don't understand how the system works.
They have a plan, but no roadmap.
A budget, but no direction.
Supports available, but no idea where to start.
And then there are the people who have been let down so many times they've almost stopped asking for help altogether.
People who have told their story over and over.
People who feel lost, forgotten, exhausted, and disconnected from a system that was meant to support them.
The sad part?
These aren't rare stories.
We hear them every single day.
Sometimes people don't need another service.
They don't need another brochure.
They don't need another person telling them what they should do.
Sometimes they simply need someone to sit down with them, listen, understand their situation, and help them work out what comes next.
If any of this sounds familiar, please know you're not alone.
We'd love to offer a coffee, a conversation, and a chance to explore whether there might be a way forward together.
No pressure.
Just humans helping humans, Australia wide. π
