Up bright and early with a delivery of queens this morning! While everyone else is getting their presents delivered, we got these!

Unfortunately a couple of weeks ago, we ordered some of these sweeties, but it coincided with Black Friday sales deliveries and our queens were lost in the post. Despite escalating this with Aus Post, they were found 4 days too late and almost half of them had died. But kudos to the crew at our local post office, they located them (a bit by fluke) and delivered them to us on a Sunday!
We anticipate that the remaining queens from that delivery will potentially not cope too well either, but we will have to wait that one out.

Meanwhile, these little beauties have come and are merrily singing away while I write this. So remember that not all Christmas deliveries contain presents! 🤣🤣🐝🐝🎅🏼🎅🏼

Nice to have the sun out to work on the bees last couple days. Busy testing for Varroa mite and improving the homes of our bees. No Varroa so far. Will still continue to search for it though! 🐝🤞
