🎾 Fun, games and teamwork at Peppermint Place! 💚

Our participants had a fantastic time playing a fun ball game together, using tennis rackets to hit a ball hanging from a string. There were lots of smiles, laughter and opportunities to enjoy being active together! 😄

This activity helps develop hand-eye coordination, motor skills, timing and concentration, while also encouraging turn-taking, teamwork and social connection.

We love seeing our participants having fun, building skills and making memories together! 💚✨

🎨 Getting creative at Peppermint Place! 💚

Our participants enjoyed making their own play dough, getting hands-on with mixing, kneading and exploring different textures. 👐✨

Making play dough is a fun way to support fine motor skills, hand strength, hand-eye coordination and sensory exploration. It also encourages creativity, problem-solving and independence while providing an opportunity to learn through hands-on experiences.

At Peppermint Place, we love creating opportunities for our participants to explore, develop new skills and have fun along the way! 🌈

Splashing, scooping, pouring and exploring! 💦

Water play is a fun, hands-on way to encourage fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and early problem-solving. As children experiment with filling and emptying containers, they begin to explore concepts such as cause and effect, volume and movement — all while learning through play!

At Peppermint Place, we love celebrating the little moments that support big steps in learning and development. 💚

🍦💛 Serving up pretend ice cream and plenty of laughs!

Our participants had so much fun creating their own pretend ice creams, with our staff joining in on the fun too! 🌈✨

At Peppermint Place, we believe genuine connection is such an important part of support. We pride ourselves on building trusting relationships through play, laughter and shared experiences — creating a space where children feel comfortable, supported and free to be themselves.

Because sometimes the best connections are built simply by having fun together. 🍦😊

👭💛 Holidays are better with your bestie!

These two best friends got to enjoy our Holiday Program side by side, sharing plenty of fun, laughter and special moments together. 🌈✨

Our Holiday Program is all about creating a safe and supportive environment where kids can have fun, be themselves and enjoy meaningful social connections — and sometimes having your best friend there makes it even better!

We loved having them join us for the holiday fun! 💛

🛍️✨ Market day for our Adult Program!

Our adult participants had the opportunity to set up their very own market stall and sell some of the beautiful handmade crafts they’ve been working on. 💛🎨

From creating the products to proudly displaying and selling them, it was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, communication, money-handling and customer service skills in a real community setting.

Such a great way to showcase their creativity and celebrate everything they’ve made! 🌈✨

🌈✨ A little bottle of creativity!

Our Adult Day Program participants enjoyed carefully filling tiny glass bottles with layers of colourful sand, creating their own unique designs to take home. 💛

This relaxing craft is a wonderful way to support concentration, fine motor skills, creativity and choice-making — while enjoying some calm, hands-on time together.

It’s amazing what you can create with a tiny bottle and a little imagination! 🩷💛💚💙

🧱✨ Big blocks, big imaginations!

Our participants had fun getting creative with our big building blocks, stacking, balancing and turning their ideas into all kinds of creations! 🌈

Building play is a fantastic way to support problem-solving, coordination, spatial awareness and big-body movement, while encouraging creativity and confidence along the way. 💛

So many possibilities when you’re free to build, knock down and start all over again! 😊

🧱🌈 LEGO fun!

Our participants had a great time getting creative with LEGO, building their own creations and letting their imaginations take the lead! ✨

LEGO play is a fantastic way to encourage problem-solving, fine motor skills, creativity and concentration — and when we build together, it’s also a great opportunity to practise sharing, communication and teamwork. 💛

Big ideas, one little brick at a time! 🧱😊
