1 in 5 Aussie men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer by age 85.

Early prostate cancer may have no symptoms.
Changes worth discucssing with your doctor include:
💠 Needing to urinate more often or more urgently
💠 Difficulty starting, a weaker flow or feeling your bladder has not emptied

These changes don't always mean cancer.

Do you have old X-rays that are no longer needed?

You can recycle them at these local Council Waste facilities:
♻ Downfall Creek Bushland Centre: 815 Rode Rd, Chermside West
♻ Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre: 149 Acacia Rd, Karawatha
♻ Dakabin Waste Management Facility: 336 Old Gympie Road
♻ Redcliffe Transfer Station: 251-255 Scarborough Road

Before you recycle them, consider:
🔹 Previous X-rays can sometimes be compared with current scans to assess changes over time
🔹 This historical information may help inform your doctor's treatment decisions
🔹 Unsure? Speak with your healthcare provider before recycling your old X-rays

Reports and images are sent to your referrer electronically and you can access them on the IQ Vue App 7 days after your appointment.
