How can you protect what's close to your heart?

Speak with your doctor if you notice changes in your breasts:
▫️A lump or thickening
▫️Persistent breast pain
▫️Nipple discharge
▫️Dimpling or changes to the skin
▫️Changes in the ni**le
▫️Swelling or discomfort in the armpit

Because 1 in 7 women and 1 in 600 men in Australia will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

💗 For the whole of October, we'll be donating $5 for every mammogram done at our clinics, including Diagnostic Imaging for Women.
Proceeds go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to support vital research.

🌺 Let’s talk Mammograms this Breast Cancer Awareness Month
A mammogram uses low dose X rays to image the breast and check for changes.

Screening mammograms are used for people with no symptoms.
🍥 They look for changes before they can be felt or cause symptoms.

Diagnostic mammograms are used when there is a specific concern, like a lump, discharge, or skin dimpling.
🍥 They investigate whether the cause of symptoms may include cancer, cysts, infections or calcifications.
🙌 Early detection can provide more treatment options and improve outcomes.

💗 For the whole of October, we'll be donating $5 for every mammogram completed at our clinics, including our sister site Diagnostic Imaging for Women. Proceeds will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to support vital research.
