These six muscles play a vital role in keeping your body moving efficiently and comfortably.

Take time to stretch them regularly, and strengthen them if they become weak. Maintaining their flexibility and strength can help improve posture, movement, and overall function.

Don't forget that massage therapy can also help reduce muscle tension, improve mobility, and support recovery.

Regular treatment and maintenance are the keys to preventing stiffnessβ€”not just treating it.

Don't wait until you're feeling tight or sore. Take care of your body before discomfort begins.

Who Should Get Skin Checks & How Often?

One of the most common questions we hear is: β€œDo I really need a skin check?”
The short answer is β€” yes, most Australians do, and especially those living in regional and coastal areas like the Pilbara.

β˜€οΈ Who should have regular skin checks?
Skin checks are recommended for everyone, but they are particularly important if you:

βœ”οΈ Live or work outdoors
βœ”οΈ Have had high sun exposure or sunburns (especially in childhood)
βœ”οΈ Have fair skin, freckles, or light eyes
βœ”οΈ Have many moles or changing spots
βœ”οΈ Have a personal or family history of skin cancer
βœ”οΈ Work in FIFO, mining, construction, farming, or marine industries
βœ”οΈ Spend lots of time in the sun for sport or recreation

Even if you don’t fit these categories, skin cancer can still occur β€” early changes are often painless and easy to miss without professional screening.

πŸ•’ How often should you have a skin check?

Every 12 months for most people

Every 6 months if you’re higher risk or have a history of skin cancer

More frequently if advised by your clinician

Regular checks also allow for photo monitoring, making it easier to track subtle changes over time.

🌾 Why local access matters
Living regionally shouldn’t mean missing out on preventative care. Having Kalli visit Karratha every 6–8 weeks ensures ongoing access to professional skin screening without needing to travel long distances.

πŸ’› Skin checks aren’t just for when something looks wrong β€” they’re about staying one step ahead.
