T H R O W B A C K T H U R S D A Y ⏳️

This week, we’re looking back at the life and legacy of Neville Greenwell - a proud part of the Greenwell & Thomas story and a familiar face in the Katoomba community for many decades.

Born in 1914, Neville studied Pharmacy at the University of Sydney before returning home to work alongside his father, Harold Greenwell - one of the original founders of Greenwell & Thomas Pharmacy, who we featured in an earlier Throwback Thursday post.

Neville worked closely with Harold in the family business for many years before eventually taking over the pharmacy himself, continuing the trusted care, dedication, and community spirit that Greenwell & Thomas became known for across the Blue Mountains.

Outside the pharmacy, Neville was a passionate sportsman, golfer, Mason, and Rotarian. He and his wife, Muriel, were much loved members of the local community.

Stories like Neville’s are an important part of our pharmacy’s history, and we hope to continue his legacy of caring for the Katoomba community for many years to come 💙
