We spent the day at the Cairns Disability Expo checking out different supports, services, ideas, equipment, and programs from across the industry.

It’s always interesting seeing how different providers operate and learning more about what is available across Queensland.

Positive behaviour services and fragile X were two the stalls that stood out.

A lot of conversations, a lot of information, and definitely a few ideas we can bring back home to Central Queensland.

Seeing the ATCQ billboard around Rockhampton is a reminder of how much our community continues to grow and evolve.

Every day, our team works across SIL homes, transport, and community supports to help people feel supported, included, and connected to their community.

We are proud to support people and families across Central Queensland and remain committed to building strong supports and real community connection throughout the region.

We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing weekend.

At ATCQ, we believe everyone deserves to feel included, supported, and respected.

This week has been a good reminder that accessibility is important for everyone. It’s not just about ramps or equipment. It’s about making sure people feel welcomed, reassured with understanding and able to be part of the community.

Every day, our team works across SIL homes, transport, and community supports to help people live more independent and still feel community connected.

We are proud to support people across Central Queensland and thank our staff, participants, families, and community for being part of our story.

After a busy few months behind the scenes, the ATCQ team is continuing to grow, strengthen systems, support our participants, and prepare for the future.

From our SIL homes and community supports through to staff development, onboarding, and SDA growth, there’s been a lot happening across the organisation.

As a regional provider, we remain focused on delivering supports that are consistent, person-centred, and built around real relationships.

A big thank you to our staff, participants, families, and community for continuing to support the journey.

5 years ago, Michele and I started All Types of Care Queensland with one simple goal — to do better.

We had both seen where the system was falling short, and we knew there had to be a higher standard of care.

What started as an idea has grown into a team supporting our community every single day.

It hasn’t always been easy — but every challenge has shaped who we are today.

To our team, our participants, and our community — thank you for trusting us.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come.

We’re just getting started.

🌍 Human Rights Day – 10 December 🌍
Today we recognise Human Rights Day and stand together in support of equality, dignity, and freedom for all.

This year’s theme reminds us that everyone deserves to live with respect, safety, and opportunity — no exceptions.

Let’s continue to uplift each other, speak up for fairness, and build a community where every person is valued.
✨ Human rights belong to every one of us. ✨

🌟 Meet Our Service Delivery Manager: Jincy 🌟
Role: Service Delivery Manager
With the Organisation Since: August 2025

About Jincy:
I began my career as a nurse after completing my nursing studies and later transitioned into broader roles within the health sector. Since 2005, I have worked across the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Australia in various health and disability organizations. For the past 11 years, I have held leadership positions, where I take pride in making a positive impact on both the community and my team.
My key strengths include a positive attitude, patience, and the ability to foster a cheerful and collaborative work environment. I am passionate about delivering quality care and supporting others, which brings me immense professional satisfaction.

What They Do:
The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality care and support services for participants. Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting staff: Providing guidance, mentoring, and resources to frontline teams to deliver exceptional care.
• Overseeing service quality: Monitoring compliance with organizational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements to maintain excellence in service delivery.
• Ensuring participant outcomes: Coordinating individualized support plans and working closely with stakeholders to ensure participants receive the best possible care tailored to their needs.
This role combines leadership, operational oversight, and a strong commitment to person-centred care.

What They Love About Their Role:
I love my role because it allows me to make a real difference—supporting staff, ensuring high-quality services, and helping participants live their best lives. The satisfaction of seeing positive outcomes for individuals and the community is what drives me every day.

A Little More About Jincy:
I’m a true people person—I love connecting with others and leaving a positive mark, even if our time together is short. When I’m not working, you’ll find me with a book in hand, tending to my garden, or cooking up something delicious. I thrive on staying busy and chatting with people—if I had nothing to do or no one to talk to, I’d probably start putting holes in the walls just to keep myself entertained (just joking).

We’re grateful to have Jincy leading our service delivery team with dedication, compassion, and expertise. 💙
