🎉💜 1 YEAR OF ASN KEMPSEY!
August marks ONE YEAR since we opened the doors of Australian Sports Nutrition Kempsey, and looking back through the photos from the past 12 months, it’s pretty incredible to see just how far we’ve come.
Opening a supplement and health store had been a brainchild of mine for many years. It was something I’d always wanted to do, but with my construction business keeping me so busy, the idea continually got put on the back burner.
When I moved back home to Kempsey, I finally saw the opportunity to bring that dream to life.
We started with an empty shop, a vision and plenty of hard work.
Slowly that empty space transformed into ASN Kempsey — and what has happened since we opened those doors has honestly blown me away. 💜
The support we have received from Kempsey and the surrounding community has been incredible.
But what I’m most proud of isn’t simply how much the community has supported us…
It’s what this shop has been able to give back to the community.
ASN Kempsey was never meant to be a shop just for bodybuilders or people who live in the gym.
It was about creating somewhere that EVERYONE feels welcome.
Over the past year we’ve had people from all walks of life, young and old, walk through our doors wanting to make a change.
To lose weight.
To get stronger.
To build muscle.
To improve their nutrition.
To have more energy.
To feel better about themselves.
Or simply to start making their health and wellbeing a priority.
In only 12 months we’ve already witnessed some incredible transformations — not only physically, but in people’s confidence, mindset and quality of life.
And that’s probably been the most rewarding part of this whole journey.
We’ve watched customers become friends, and in some cases, customers have genuinely become like family. 💜
Friendships have been built through this little shop that I believe will last a lifetime.
That means more to me than any sale ever could.
And the journey has grown beyond the four walls of the shop.
From our açai bowls and smoothies, taste-testing days and conversations across the counter, to getting the ASN van out into the community, supporting local sport and events and meeting even more people…
It’s become something much bigger than I originally imagined.
And we’re only getting started.
My goal for ASN Kempsey is to continue helping our town become healthier, stronger and happier — one person at a time.
You don’t have to be an athlete.
You don’t have to be a gym ju**ie.
You don’t have to already be fit.
You just have to want to start.
And if we can play even a small part in helping someone make their health and wellbeing a priority, chase a goal or change their life for the better, then we’re doing exactly what we set out to do.
To every single person who has walked through our doors, purchased something, grabbed an açai bowl, recommended us to a friend, shared a post, stopped for a chat, supported the van or simply backed us along the way…
