Floor bodywork is a combination of Thai, Hawaiian & Shiatsu and it is sweetly deep. There is a nervous system safety when you are on the floor that a massage table simply cannot match.
The queen size floor mat allows you to let go of the tensions that normally stay active on a massage table, the ones that stop your extremities from falling... then there is the rolling over.
All these worries are gone when you are relaxing on the floor, dressed in your softest, comfiest, loosest clothes... what a way to begin your bodywork.

It is often surprising how easy it is to get up off the floor once you are relaxed, there is a simple explanation for that, but you learn that in a Maia Movement session... so if that is a concern, I can work with most people and capabilities.
