This Courage card has been calling to me today, and I have a feeling someone else may need it too.
When I climbed Huayna Picchu above Machu Picchu, including the infamous Death Stairs, I felt more alive than ever. Every step filled me with pride, and I could feel the energy of the jaguar walking beside me, encouraging me to keep going.
In the Munay Ki teachings, the jaguar represents courage, strength and walking your path with confidence. That climb reminded me that courage isn't about never feeling challenged—it's about trusting yourself enough to take the next step.
If this card has found you today, perhaps it's your reminder that you are stronger than you know.
I'd love to know how this card speaks to you. ❤️
Courage
Healing Space
There comes a moment in every soul's journey when fear can no longer be allowed to lead the way. It may arrive as a whisper or a roar, but it carries the same message:
"I am no longer willing to accept less than I deserve."
At first, these words may be about one person, one relationship or one situation. Yet, as your soul awakens, you begin to realise they apply to every part of your life. The friendships you keep. The work you choose. The boundaries you honour. The way you speak to yourself. Courage is choosing your heart, even when it feels unfamiliar.
Your soul did not come to Earth to remain hidden beneath fear. It came to grow, to learn, to love, and to leave the world a little kinder, brighter and more compassionate because you were here. Every soul carries unique gifts. We are not here to compete with one another but to contribute our own sacred medicine to the whole. Courage is what allows those gifts to emerge.
A seed is safe while it remains buried beneath the soil. It is protected, but it never becomes what it was created to be. Before it can reach the light, it must first split open in the darkness. What appears to be breaking apart is, in truth, the beginning of new life.
Our lives are much the same.
Without courage, we often remain where we are because it feels familiar. We stay in relationships that no longer nourish us, hold onto beliefs that keep us small, silence our truth, or continue to accept less than we deserve. While this may feel safe, our soul quietly longs to grow.
Courage is not the absence of fear. It is listening when your heart speaks more loudly than your fear.
Sometimes courage is life-changing, like leaving a relationship, changing careers or following a calling that your soul cannot ignore. Sometimes it is beautifully simple: asking for help, taking a mental health day, saying "no" without guilt, apologising with humility, speaking your truth, or finally believing that you are worthy of love and respect.
The jaguar, honoured in the Munay Ki tradition, walks with quiet confidence. It does not waste its energy proving its strength. It trusts its instincts and moves forward with purpose, teaching us to walk without fear and to honour the wisdom within. Like the jaguar, you do not need to know every step of the journey. You only need the courage to take the next one.
Every courageous choice plants another seed. Some will bloom in your own life, while others will blossom in the hearts of people you may never meet. Your courage becomes permission for others to find their own. One act of bravery can create ripples that travel further than you will ever know.
Trust that your soul remembers why it came here.
Today, choose courage over comfort, growth over fear, and love over limitation.
The world needs the unique light that only you can bring.
Nature's Wisdom
The jaguar reminds us that true courage is quiet. It does not seek recognition or approval; it simply knows who it is. Walk gently, trust your instincts, and remember that every courageous step brings you closer to the life your soul came here to live.
Pause for a Moment
• Where in my life is fear keeping me small?
• What courageous step is my heart asking me to take today?
• If I truly believed I was worthy, what would I choose differently?
Heart Affirmation
I honour my soul with courage. With every brave step I take, I grow into the person I was always destined to become, planting seeds of love, healing and hope for the world around me.
With love from Penny
