We are excited to announce that Dr Catherine MacDonald is doing Women’s Health Clinics at the K-Life Medical Centre!

This includes:
- Perimenopause or Menopause visits
- Mirena removals or insertions
- Abnormal periods, gynaecological issues or contraceptive options
- Antenatal Care for pregnant women
- Pregnancy/fertility planning/discussions

This is open to new patients, however due to Dr MacDonald’s limited availability, if you are a new patient to Dr MacDonald for a women’s health appointment, you would need to return to your regular GP for any other concerns following this.

At K-Life, Help Starts Here connects you with people who can listen, explain your options and help you find the right support.

Our Community Services team can assist with:

🏡 Help at home, including cleaning and meal preparation
🌿 Gardening and minor home maintenance
🤝 Personal care and support with daily activities
🚗 Transport to appointments, shopping and social outings
💬 Social connection and community support
📋 Guidance with My Aged Care and accessing services

💗 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗

At K-Life, we’re encouraging women to make time for their health and get to know what is normal for their breasts.

A new lump, changes in breast shape, skin dimpling or unusual ni**le changes should be checked by your GP promptly—even if you’ve recently had a mammogram. Most breast changes aren’t cancer, but it’s important to get them checked.

If you’ve noticed a change or have questions about your breast health, we’re here to help.

K-Life’s Dementia Support Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month, providing a welcoming place to connect, share experiences and learn about available support.
