The Memorial Walk for Hope is a chance to remember loved ones, show support for those experiencing emotional distress or mental illness, and help raise awareness in our community.

I loved hanging out with Cath and friends for the weekend and my steed "Princess" was amazing carrying me the full 22km distance. The auctioneers were so entertaining and raised money to help the volunteers of Angel Flight to keep this essential service in the air. Awesome music with a live band and great food. 163 riders with beautiful scenery. Thanks to all involved making it a wonderful event.

Kids at play epitomise a well functioning nervous system to me.
Relaxed excitement and activity.

People often paint the Sympathetic arm of the autonomic nervous system as the bad guy, but it is not!! Everyone needs a balance of sympathetic and parasympathetic and both of them are on and going all the time, not one or the other. It is when one wins all the time or not at the right time, that things can get out of balance.

Postive emotions of high sympathetic nerve system tone include Excitement, Passion, Jubilation, high focus in performance. Postive states in high parasympathetic tone include calm, relaxation, focussed, Peace.
