ce in the health and fitness world has taught us just how true this is. Many people come come to us struggling to achieve their fitness goals; some get off to a great start but find their success is short lived. Others put in so much effort to their training but self-sabotage through other destructive habits. After seeing these kinds of things happening to our clients we knew there was more to health, than just the body. Knowing that we had the foundational basics of training and fitness down pat, but we needed to understand the mental and emotional impacts of wellbeing and how the mind works, seen Courtney upskill and train in Neuro-Linguistic Programming - becoming a certified Master Practitioner and coach of NLP and through this modality, learnt how to emotionally support and coach members to better health, both mentally and physically. Using the techniques and tools that Courtney has studied and embodied within herself, Mind and Body Fitness member’s experience a greater level of well-being, fitness and overall general health. Because at M&BF we train and support our members at an emotional and mental level, the connections and relationships we build really create an atmosphere of trust and family. We are not concerned with outward appearances, but rather what’s happening for you on the inside. We strive to offer a gym that has a supportive, approachable and family based atmosphere. Members can join in on our variety of programs such as our group fitness classes which include HIIT, Boxing, Strength and Conditioning, Sh1ft, BodyCombat and many more. If you’re after something more specific - We also offer our very popular Six to Success program, which focuses both on mindset and weight-loss. We also have our 24 hour gym available. We literally have something for everyone! Exclusively we also offer a mindset breakthrough program online, through a group coaching method, or if groups just aren’t your thing, we can offer you a personal one on one 6 week breakthrough experience. In all of our sessions, in both mind and body - we incorporate something new, fun and challenging to keep you on your toes, starve off boredom and keep your fitness from becoming stale, mundane and repetitive. 💫 LET ME REINTRODUCE MYSELF 💫

Hi, I'm Courtney, and I'm the face behind The Movement Room.

I've been working in the fitness industry for over 16 years as both a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. For more than 12 of those years, I've successfully run my own business—starting with a personal training studio before expanding into a 24-hour gym, group fitness classes and online Community programs.

Helping people move, build strength, and feel confident in their bodies has been my career, but more importantly, it's been my passion.

Over the years, my own journey has evolved. As I've grown, experienced injuries, navigated life's challenges, and learned more about how our bodies work, I've developed a deep love for Pilates: both Reformer and Mat.

What started as a time out for me, quickly became so much more.

Pilates taught me the importance of core strength, spinal mobility, body awareness, balance, stability, and moving well for life. It showed me that strength isn't just about lifting heavier weights... it's about creating a body that feels capable, resilient, and supported every single day.

That's why I created The Movement Room.

A private, welcoming space where you can step away from the noise of a busy gym and focus completely on you.

Whether your goal is to build strength, improve mobility, manage injuries, develop better movement patterns, strengthen your core, or simply feel more connected to your body, every session is tailored specifically to your needs.

I offer one-on-one sessions in:

✨ Reformer Pilates

One thing I'm particularly passionate about is helping people who are interested in trying Reformer Pilates but don't yet feel confident enough to walk into a studio class. If you've ever looked at a reformer and thought, "That looks amazing, but I have no idea what I'm doing," you're not alone.

My one-on-one sessions can help you learn the fundamental reformer exercises, understand the equipment, build confidence in your movement, and feel comfortable before stepping into a group class environment. Sometimes all you need is a little guidance and reassurance to get started.

There's nothing I love more than watching someone discover what their body is capable of and helping them move with more confidence, freedom, and strength.

I'm incredibly excited to begin this next chapter and share what I've learned with others.

Known for keeping Launceston up to date with weather news from our lounge rooms, or playing your favourite hits on your car radio, Jackie has also been quietly making headlines (and muscles) in the gym 💪

Making a last-minute decision to jump in because she needed that extra bit of motivation and accountability to help get herself back into classes, and it paid off!

Even with a demanding farm job which seen her out of action for a couple of weeks, she still achieved these awesome results through consistency, determination, and showing up when she could👏 Proving that even when life is busy, small consistent steps still lead to big results. 💪
