Today, on Early Childhood Educators’ Day, we honour the educators whose love, care and attention make children and families feel safe, valued and deeply cared for.

Vesna, a parent at Sesame Lane North Lakes - Flinders Parade, shared how much this care means to her:
“I feel very lucky that both of my girls have educators who make them feel so loved, safe and cared for.”

Vesna went on to name these
three Educators.

These are just three moments among the hundreds that happen across Sesame Lane each day.

♥️ Miss Desma noticed a small detail about a child’s day and took the time to mention it at pick-up.
💙 Miss Jacquie remembers the little things about every baby in her care, even in a busy nursery room.
💛 Miss Reem has cared for us for two years and treats every child as her own.

Today, we celebrate the hundreds of moments, big and small, when our educators show their hearts of gold.

Birthdays never go unnoticed at Sesame Lane. 🎉
Sesame Lane North Lakes - Discovery Drive a treat platter, fresh flowers and a whole lot of heart to celebrate Em's birthday this week, including a $50 birthday bonus through the Employee Reward and Recognition Program.

It is a small thing, but it says a lot: we always acknowledge birthdays here.

Book Week has taken over Sesame Lane North Lakes - Flinders Parade, and the educators are not holding back.
Lulu carried Nemo home (plastic bag, glad wrap and all), Elsa blew in on an icy breeze, and Thelma the Unicorn couldn't wait to read her book to toddlers.

Book Week is one of the anticipated weeks on the calendar, and it's easy to see why.

Not many early learning centres show off their bathrooms.
There's usually a reason for that... let's just say these areas aren't exactly camera-ready.

At Sesame Lane Kippa Ring - Regency Street , it's a different story.
Fairy lights, warm lamps and hanging plants turn even the nappy station into somewhere calm and considered.

If this is the standard for the space nobody sees, imagine the rest of the centre.

Our two Kippa-Ring centres have opened the Anzac Avenue Coffee Window, offering complimentary barista-made coffees for Sesame Lane families every morning.

A real coffee in hand, made for you while you drop off your little ones, on us.
It's our way of making the morning a little easier.

Pyjamas, pancakes and a whole lot of heart. 🩷
For National Pyjama Day, our Sesame Lane community swapped uniforms for pyjamas and came together to raise $600 for The Pyjama Foundation, an organisation that helps give vulnerable children in foster care a better start through early learning.
