From disability support to daily household assistance we can offer your family support where it is needed and provide solutions tailored to your needs. The Warehouse is open to our clients any time for access with their support worker. We also open for all people with disabilities and their support workers by booking. Congratulations Alannah - our new People and Client Relations Manager.

Alannah will be taking over the daily operations and people side of the business - she is your go to for new clients, our existing families, support coordinators and our staff. You will see her around the Warehouse changing things up.

Alannah is still an ACA registered counsellor, and she has worked in this business for 4 years! She is very familiar with the needs of our clients, and the dynamics of complex families. She will help you get the support you need.

I am so happy to be handing the people facing role to someone who is so passionate about rights for people with disabilities, and so much understanding for the mental health needs of not only clients, but their support network as well.

No time like the present - Alannah steps up today.

Engagement. That’s how we teach skills.
So today, while some of our kids produced home made healthy and delicious sausage rolls, they also:
Learned food safety and hygiene
Overcame sensory intolerances
Worked on their fine motor skills

And they had fun! Food is fun! We took a moment to explore their imaginations and let them create…. And we came out with pastry bowls, pastry burgers, flowers, meatballs in pastry….. and gosh there was just good ol’ flippin’ fun 🤩

Oh…. And then the kids did the dishes ☺️ cos, you know, life skills…..

Some of the internal days : a bit of science, a bit of cooking, some art….. and a whole lot of teamwork!

The kids do so much here and it translates into other environments. We have some truly lovely friendships forming and we can see each child developing their own clicks with others.

It’s beautiful when it comes together.

These kids can do so much with the right support. And lots of big goals were kicked on this excursion. We developed lots of gross motor skills, balance, exploration and cognitive curiosity…. We expanded our sensory world.

Sometimes its hard to know who is having more fun… the big kids or the younger ones 🤣

I will say that science group has really started to work well together, which is what lets us get outside and share in bigger, braver experiments. When the kids can all learn to follow safety instructions, listen, stick to a group plan and communicate their needs safely then it becomes a lot easier to keep them together in the big outside world.

Groups are the key to the holiday activities. Your kids find the days much easier when they do a regular after school group too. Sometimes we just have to build them up to it, one step at a time.

Reach out if you’re interested in term 2 groups. There are very few spaces.

OR - if you know a big kid who is a fantastic support for the younger kids, send them our way - the more support workers we have, the more kids we can support.
