The research for pelvic floor muscle training is there.

But the key thing is- are you doing it properly?

Often signs of pelvic floor dysfunction are dismissed.

Symptoms such as these impact can impact your every day life, and often cause women to lose confidence in their bodies and limit their movement in the long term.

It's time to address it.

If any of these resonate with you - this is your sign to seek help.

OMP and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

From a pelvic health physio lens, OMP complements the rest of the work we do in pregnancy.

Pelvic floor training, core connection, breath-work, managing pelvic girdle pain- and it sets you up for better recovery postpartum too.

Birth prep and postpartum recovery aren't separate conversations. The more intentional we are during pregnancy, the smoother the other side can be.

If you have any questions about OMP, or aren't sure if it might be able to help you, get in contact today.

Feeling inspired from attending the recent Optimal Maternal Positioning course run by the APA!

Talking caesarean scar healing timeframes.

Initially —> respect healing, let the scar recover.

Once the scar has healed —> we can start gentle massage.

More healing has taken place —> movement, stretching, further mobilisation to help it heal as pliable as possible.

This video is just a sneak peek of the The Postpartum Rebuild Program Hub. Education on everything postpartum recovery.
