Livingston Medical Kojonup is now offering bulk-billed diphtheria booster vaccinations for eligible Aboriginal people living in Western Australia as part of the WA diphtheria outbreak response.

You may be eligible if you:
✅ Are Aboriginal and live in Western Australia
✅ Have not had a diphtheria-containing vaccine in the past 5 years
✅ Are not currently due for a routine booster under the National Immunisation Program

This booster also helps protect against pertussis (whooping cough).

If you're unsure whether you're eligible, our friendly team is happy to help.

Dr Alex will commence consulting from August across several Livingston Medical locations, including Gnowangerup and Kojonup.

Dr Alex is a rural generalist senior registrar with experience in emergency medicine, family medicine, skin cancer medicine, chronic disease management, mental health, aged care and palliative care. He is committed to providing comprehensive healthcare tailored to the needs of rural communities.
