Happy World Physiotherapy Day!

Today we celebrate our wonderful Physiotherapists and the difference they make every day.

Physiotherapy is about so much more than exercise. It’s about helping people move safely, stay strong, maintain their independence and keep doing the things that matter to them.

This year, World Physiotherapy Day highlights the important role physiotherapists and physical activity play in the prevention, management and rehabilitation of cardiovascular disease and stroke

Across our community, our Physios work alongside older people and people living with disability to improve strength, balance, mobility and confidence whether that means reducing falls risk, returning to an activity after illness or injury, learning to use a mobility aid safely, building endurance, or simply making everyday movement a little easier.

Some days progress looks like a big achievement.

Other days, it’s one more step, one safer transfer, one extra lap of the hallway, or the confidence to try again.

To our Physios, thank you for the knowledge, encouragement, patience and plenty of movement you bring to the people we support.

For every person you encourage to move, recover, participate and keep going…

Happy World Physiotherapy Day! 🌏💪

🗣️ This Speech Pathology Week, we’re celebrating the power of communication to create possibility.

When communication and swallowing needs are supported, people have greater opportunities to connect, learn, make choices, participate and thrive.

Speech pathologists help turn these possibilities into meaningful opportunities; supporting greater inclusion, independence and wellbeing across health, education, disability, aged care and community settings.

A huge shout-out to our amazing Speech Pathology team for the skill, care and dedication you bring to your work every day—and to all the incredible speechies making a difference across Australia.

Happy Speech Pathology Week! 💚
