🧡 World MS Day – 30 May 🧡
Together we raise awareness, support, and hope.

Today we recognise World MS Day, a global day dedicated to people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and the families, carers, and communities who stand beside them.

At OASES Community Carers, we see every day the strength, resilience, and courage of people living with MS. Whether it’s navigating fatigue, mobility changes, or the invisible symptoms that others may not see — your journey matters, and you are not alone.

Through NDIS support and compassionate care, we’re committed to helping participants live with dignity, independence, and confidence.

💬 This World MS Day, let’s:
• Increase understanding of MS
• Support accessible and inclusive care
• Celebrate the strength of those living with MS
• Recognise the vital role of carers and support workers

💙 Theme reminder: “My MS Diagnosis” — because every story is unique and deserves to be heard.

Together, we can build a more inclusive community for everyone.

At OASES Community Carers, we honour the amazing women who care for others every single day — often putting the needs of their families and communities before their own. Your compassion and dedication make a lasting difference in the lives of so many.

To all the mums in our community: thank you for your endless support, resilience, and unconditional love. We hope today brings you joy, appreciation, and special moments with your loved ones. 🌸

Today, we recognise Autism Awareness Day 💙

At OASES Community Carers, we celebrate the strengths, uniqueness, and incredible contributions of people on the autism spectrum. We believe in creating a supportive, inclusive environment where every individual is understood, respected, and empowered to thrive.

Autism is not something to “fix” — it’s something to understand, embrace, and support. By increasing awareness, we can build a more accepting community for everyone.

Let’s take today as an opportunity to listen, learn, and stand alongside individuals with autism and their families.

💙 Together, we can make a difference.

Today, OASES Community Carers proudly supports World Hearing Day, raising awareness about the importance of ear and hearing care for everyone.

Hearing health plays a vital role in communication, connection, independence, and overall wellbeing — especially for people living with disability. Early checks, prevention, and access to the right supports can make a life-changing difference.

As an NDIS provider, we are committed to supporting participants to access the services, therapies, and assistive technologies they need to stay connected and thrive. 💙

Let’s work together to break down barriers and promote inclusive communication for all.

World Hearing Day is today, and this year’s theme “From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children” is shining a spotlight on the critical role hearing plays in every stage of a child’s life.

Let’s work together to raise awareness of the importance of hearing care and seeing an Audiologist. ✨

Thank you to Melisha Sirisena, Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist, for sharing your thoughts on World Hearing Day.

Today we celebrate International Wheelchair Day ♿💙

At OASES Community Carers, we recognise that wheelchairs are more than mobility aids — they represent freedom, independence, inclusion, and opportunity.

International Wheelchair Day is about:
✨ Celebrating the positive impact wheelchairs have on people’s lives
✨ Recognising the incredible strength and resilience of wheelchair users
✨ Acknowledging the importance of accessibility and inclusion in our communities

As an NDIS provider, OASES Community Carers is committed to supporting participants to live empowered, independent lives — whether that’s at home, in the community, at work, or pursuing personal goals.

Today we stand with wheelchair users, their families, carers, and advocates, and we continue to promote a more accessible and inclusive Australia.

Let’s keep building communities where everyone can move through life with dignity and choice.
