GReezy Off: From Life Changing Illness to a Light-Bulb Moment
The story behind R&D Specialist Sean Borg and the unexpected discovery that changed everything.
Sometimes, the greatest innovations are born out of necessity. For Sean Borg, it all started with a personal health challenge and a determination to find a better, more natural way to clean his family’s home.
Following a severe post COVID pneumonic infection, Sean developed acute skin and respiratory sensitivities. This prompted him to undertake a complete household detox, removing chemical and alcohol-based cleaning products from his family’s home.
But there was a problem: he simply couldn’t find an alternative that met his needs.
Rather than settle for products that didn’t suit his family, Sean put his research and development expertise to work. Drawing inspiration from the land and the power of nature, he developed his own cleaning solution using 100% organic plant and vegetable based ingredients, initially intended exclusively for his family’s personal use.
Little did he know that this homemade solution would soon lead to something much bigger.
The Day Everything Changed
Fast-forward to a memorable summer’s day in 2024.
Sean received a phone call from his daughter, Mia, who was standing in the driveway beside her newly purchased car.
“Dad, promise me you won’t get angry.”
After a little deliberation, Dad made a promise..well, to some degree!

Enter Sean, his homemade organic cleaning solution and one very colourful car bonnet.
While inspecting the artwork and doing his best to honour that promise not to get angry, Sean had a light-bulb moment.
Holding the very product he had developed for his family, he decided to give the bonnet a quick spray.
And just like that, the artwork began to disappear virtually melting away like butter.
What started as an unexpected father-daughter dilemma quickly became an extraordinary discovery. A product originally created to meet a personal household need had revealed a potential far broader than anyone had imagined.
