Freckle Face Braids Hair Art I love braiding...I love how intricate it is and how creative and amazing the different looks that can be achieved.

My passion for braiding started very young. My earliest memories are of braiding my cabbage patch doll- she had red hair. I crew up having red hair AND freckles. Now back in the early 80's it certainly was not cool to have this combination. I was teased immensely during primary school, my nickname was "Red Headed Rat Rooter"

ompetitive gymnast, nothing says gymnast then the compulsory "braids do". I practised lots of braids on my own hair for competitions. Our whole team travelled away a lot for comps and fellow gymnasts needed their hair doing. Then I sort of became the braids queen at all of our comps as I loved being creative with hair

For those of you who are beginning to braid, it may seem a lot to tackle braiding the whole head- so section off two parts like I've done here with Rubz. I braided the bottom section first whilst the top section was out of the way. Secure with a loom band . Then start braiding the top section secure with a loom band then wrap the ends around each other & bobby pin in, da dahh
