Hi everyone! I (Lori) will be out of town for a few weeks in a month or so - book in now to grab a spot with me before I go, those Saturday spots are almost gone!

My apprentice Lewis (Lewis Rhone | Body Piercing) will be at the studio while I’m away, he is doing some piercings on his own and those will be bookable online, he can also help you with your downsizes or jewellery insertions and removals, but he IS an apprentice and isn’t quite flying at my altitude yet. Worry not, I’ll be back at work mid-October and happy to help! I’ll also be checking emails and social media daily and can help answer any questions there.

We offered free nostril piercings to the public for Lewis Rhone to learn, and y’all chose violence 😂

Quite by coincidence, both of Lewis’s training piercings today ended up being right nostrils matching a well healed existing left nostril, on clients who also had septum piercings - and he did an amazing job matching the placement and angle on both. Any piercer will tell you this difficulty level: extreme! So for these to be the 3rd and 4th nostrils he’s done is incredibly impressive, Lewis is going to be a weapon 💪

Our apprentice piercer Lewis did this very clean helix piercing on the lovely Ellery - notice the perfect angle passing perpendicular through the cartilage, showing his growing understanding of putting bevel theory into practice and making every piercing - yes, even a simple lobe or helix piercing - as perfectly placed as possible to give it the best chance of healing without issue.
